Sip It Forward and Support!

I have always been drawn to the idea of giving back by purchasing what you love from time to time. I have found various bottles of wine that give back to charities a percentage of their profits.

First, there was the now demised Big Tattoo Red where a portion on their proceeds went to Cancer Research on behalf of their mother. Then I discovered One Hope Wines that donates proceeds from everything from breast cancer, supporting our troop, the fight against Aids and a plethora of other worthy causes.

Earlier this week, I received an email from Invino about their January Uncork and Support program that allows you to share insider wine sales with other wine lovers and aficionados by giving a portion of all wine sale proceeds to your charity of choice. I decided to get involved right away because we are halfway through January.

My charity of choice is NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness. This is a charity that is dedicated to helping families that are affected by mental illness live better lives by providing the resources needed to help manage mental illness.

I know that for many people, mental illness can be a taboo subject. I know many families that have a loved one that suffers from a variety of mental illnesses that they do not want anyone to know about. This is not something to be ashamed of. Whether you have need a starting point or you need someone to help you get on point with a plan to help manage any mental illness, NAMI can help you.

Invino has some very exciting wines to share with you during this time of giving. From full cases of 2009 Belmondo Pinot Noir for $79.99 to a bottle of 2010 Domaine St. Michel Cotes du Rhone for $10.00, there is something for everyone.

So, you wanna know how can you be down, right? I am glad that you asked. If you are interested in participating and have a love for Mo Wine please visit Invino at Invino Uncork and Support.

Life is hard alone so let's show some love to help families with loved ones that suffer from mental illness. If there are any of you that need my help getting involved, send me an email and I will share a special code with you. I hope that you join me.

Thank you,
Mo Wine!
